Yes, it’s a game idea as old as time, but it can still work well when handled with proper care. So she must then search for the relevant item to get a hold of it. This primarily involves exploration where Ada finds something she needs, like a key, and for whatever reason, it’s currently out of reach. Sunshine Manor plays out like a horror-led 2D Legend of Zelda game and asks players to guide Ada around the dilapidated homestead, searching for keys and items of interest that can help her go deeper into the house in search of her friends.
